Piper commented on the list on his Twitter, writing, "The book, Best Mic Men in History of wrestling. Look who's on list. Even the boys say it's Bulls--t! Best mic men? WWE must think the fans are stupid. No respect for the fan that buys tickets! I can make it simple. Look at the list of @WWE's best Mic men. 90% have there promo's written for them. Then there's the real deal!"
